Looking back on 2022 at Streets Heaver
We’ve officially closed the book of 2022 and look forward to another year of learning, growth, and success at Streets Heaver.
There has been so much to celebrate over the past year, we’ve gained valuable new staff members, seen exciting developments to Compucare 8 and implemented lots of Compucare solutions across the UK.
Here’s our recap of the last 12 months.
More Hospitals Go Live with Compucare
Throughout the year, our staff have worked tirelessly on introducing our software solutions to hospitals of all shapes and sizes. We’ve seen many clients successfully go live with new modules and features to further enhance their hospital processes and we’ve also welcomed new faces to our ever-growing client base.
To name a few, 2022 saw several Compucare 7 to Compucare 8 upgrades for existing clients including, Cromwell Hospital, The New Foscote Private Hospital, and all 5 Private Patient Units at Imperial Private Healthcare. We also went live with a completely new Compucare 8 system for Optegra Eye Healthcare, replacing their existing PAS across 9 dedicated eye hospitals and clinics in the UK.
We work extremely close with our clients to understand their ever-changing needs in the healthcare sector and see great value in being able to visit hospitals all over the UK. Thank you to all of our wonderful clients who have welcomed Streets Heaver employees in 2022.
Our Ongoing IT Security Commitment
Earlier last year, we proudly achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification in our ongoing commitment to software security. This joins our existing Cyber Essentials certification, ISO27001 and NHS Data Security accreditations in demonstrating secure software to our clients.
Our Datacentre Team have also made several updates to our secure hosted solutions to further strengthen and automate processes. This comes with our increased focus throughout 2022 on hosted solutions to help hospitals reduce their footprints, save on infrastructure, and maximise data security.
Catching Up with Clients
It’s been yet another busy year of events for Streets Heaver!
Back in March, the team headed out to London for the Private Healthcare Summit which was held at the QEII Centre in London. We also returned to London in October as Executive Sponsors of the Private Acute Conference at the ETC. Venues, County Hall. Both events, organised by LaingBuisson, welcomed hundreds of senior health professionals from across the UK to discuss and share valuable topics from the private health sector.
The events provided us with valuable opportunities to catch up with familiar faces from within the industry and to meet potential new clients. Thank you to everyone who’s visited our illuminated Compucare stand over the past year!
Additionally, in October we sponsored the SBK virtual forum, NHS Private Patient Service Roadmap. Our Commercials team joined the conversation online amongst many other NHS Trust representatives to delve into improving PPU processes.
A Year of New Features and Functionality
As a company that strives for customer focus and innovation, our product has continued to evolve to meet the future and current needs of the healthcare industry.
Since the start of 2022, Compucare has seen 9 new releases from version 8.39 to 8.48. This has included valuable new features such as Compucare 8 Dark Mode, enhancements to the Clinicians Portal, the introduction of electronic charge sheets and more. All of this is discussed in detail on our Compucare Release Webinar series via the Streets Heaver YouTube channel.

Supporting our Staff & Community
Our growth has shown no signs of slowing throughout 2022 as every department across the company has expanded. With 10 new additions to Streets Heaver and several internal promotions, there’s been plenty of structural enhancement and new strengths within the teams. On top of this, we saw the evolution of an entirely new Learning & Development team who have since made huge waves in our internal training programme.
Streets Heaver employees also continued efforts in fundraising, reaching an impressive total of £2,699 for our Charity of the Year, St Barnabas Hospice, through various charity events. We also saw increased focus in our sustainability journey as we worked with Zellar on our mission to achieve Net Zero by 2050. This passion for supporting the environment was reflected in our decision to sponsor the ‘Business for a Purpose’ award at the Lincs Enterprise Awards in November, which celebrated other local companies in their CSR and charitable efforts.
Crowned Family Business of the Year 2022
A true highlight of 2022 is when Streets Heaver was named Family Business of the Year at the Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards in July. This award recognised the success we have achieved whilst remaining true to our core family values.
The award comes after celebrating seven staff members’ Long Service milestone achievements earlier that month. To have employees stay with us for such a long period strongly reflects the commitment and shared core values we hold in our workforce.

Looking to the Future
We’re excited to get stuck into 2023 and continue to introduce valuable enhancements as the system evolves. A key product, the latest enhancements to the Compucare Patient Portal is due to be rolled out in the coming months, which will improve patient communication and introduce online booking functionality to hospitals. We also plan to re-introduce the Compucare User Workshops with a focus on networking and learning opportunities for attendees.
Of course, you can also expect to see Streets Heaver at many industry-specific events and local events throughout the year. We’re striving towards further award success, so keep your eyes peeled for big things to come in 2023.
