Now in its 11th year, the Midlands Family Business Awards was held at the glamourous Athena Venue in Leicester on October 3rd. The long-standing awards celebrate the achievements of family-run businesses across the Midlands, recognising excellence across various categories including Employer of the Year, Sustainability and Family Business of the Year. They shine a spotlight on businesses that demonstrate strong family values, innovative leadership, and community impact.
Upon being shortlisted earlier in the year, the team at Streets Heaver then underwent a detailed judging process which involved presenting our entry to a judging panel before the final decision was made. The ‘Employer of the Year’ award was proudly sponsored by the Wilson Organisation, who recognise the importance of fostering positive work environments that support both personal and professional growth, further emphasising the significance of this achievement for Streets Heaver.
